Detention

CCR Title 5 352 Detention During recess or Noon Intermission.

A pupil should not be required to be in school during the intermission at noon or during any recess.

CCR Title 5 353 Detention after school.

A pupil shall not detained in school for disciplinary or other reasons for more than one hour after the close of the maximum school day except as otherwise provided in section 307.

EC 44807.5 Detention During Recess

The governing board of a school district may adopt reasonable rules and regulations to authorize a teacher to restrict for disciplinary purposes the time a pupil under his or her supervision is allowed for recess.
